Last week former world #1 junior Ricardas Berankis, who trains at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy, was in his home country of Lithuania for the opening of the new SEB Arena. The new facility is the largest indoor tennis center in Eastern Europe. It has 15 indoor courts, four outdoor courts, a connected hotel, a Savicko Super Gym, squash courts, and a restaurant.
Berankis, 18, is currently ranked #442 in the world in the ATP rankings and is playing in Challenger events. In 2008 Berankis has reached the semis of one $10,000 Future and the quarterfinals of two others.
As a junior, Berankis won the 2007 Junior US Open, Junior Canadian Open, the Copa Mundial Yucatan in singles and doubles and the Orange Bowl. He was also a semifinalist at the 2007 Junior Wimbledon and Junior Australian Open. He also won a $10,000 Men’s Future’ in 2007 after qualifying for the event.

The Art&Tur Festival on 24 - 27 September has showed the best existent in the world in the matter of Tourism audiovisual promotion.
In this way, the Art&Tur Festival will promote and divulge films and audio productions that emphasise the role and function of Tourism in the multiple dimensions of modern society: cultural, social, economic, recreation, religious, sports and health, bringing up places, sightseeing, communication, hospitality and infra-structures, with the historic-cultural, oenological and gastronomic aspects, as well as artcraft.
A large membership of domestic and foreign competitors, in total were put out to tender 158 films, from 26 countries.
Besides the Grand Prize, the best film in each category has been awarded. In creative category Lithuania won first place with their representative film “A Trip to the Great Little Country“
