Situated on the shore of the lagoon, the hotel boasts its architecture reflecting the spirit of Little Lithuania in the XIX century. Renovated and adapted to modern needs, the hotel stands out for its unique interiors and marvellous views of the lagoon and Kintai village through the windows.
Currently, there are 11 guest rooms in the hotel: 2 suites, 3 quadruple rooms, 1 triple room and 5 double rooms. There is a secure parking lot by the hotel.

The restaurant, located in the harbour, and the hotel form a cosy architectural ensemble reflecting the old spirit of Little Lithuania. The interior and furnishing of the restaurant creates an impression of simplicity, cosiness and originality.
There are no unnecessaries preventing you from enjoying the peace and unique tastes of the food or overwhelming the homelike crackling sounds of the fire in the fireplace and the surrounding silence.
This is the only fresh fish restaurant in Lithuania where you won’t find a traditional menu. Fishermen set sail into the lagoon every day, and what you eat today depends on the Maumas of the lagoon and fishermen’s luck. The catch of each day is placed on ice and you can choose a fish for the restaurant’s cook to prepare right before your eyes and bake in the fireplace.
Don’t miss the opportunity to taste our magic fish soup - the spell of fire and special sauce will help to fulfil your most secret wishes…
Near the restaurant, there’s a cosy terrace with wooden plank beds, so whole enjoying our food and beverages, you can observe what’s happening on the other side of the lagoon – how the sun descends into the dead dunes, how the lights of the Curonian Spit turn on in the evening, and how all the constellations light up over your head at night.
Listen, you can hear the fish whispering…

Everybody knows Nida, Juodkrantė, and Preila. Many have been there, gazed at the wavering shapes of the land in the distance from the other side of the lagoon, asking themselves what is beyond, where the sky blends with the water, what land is it, and what the world looks like from there.
Few know that there is Ventės Ragas. This is the place with the lonely lighthouse, built as if on the very edge of the world, and people, in whose eyes only water and sky are reflected, who ring birds so that they can observe their journey through the sky.
Ventės Ragas is one of the best places in Europe to observe migrant birds. For this reason, ornithologists both from Lithuania and abroad meet here every year.
However, it is worth crossing the lagoon not only because of the birds. This is a rare opportunity to experience true tranquillity, to see the remaining architecture of Little Lithuanian with your own eyes, to hear the language used by old local residents, and to admire the beauty of the nature, which you won’t find anywhere else. Here, you’ll be surprised to find the so-called “Little Venice”, where streets are rivers and where people greet each other when passing by in their boats and communicate sincerely and openly.

Camping

Every year during the last weekend of October LOD with partners is organizing the BIRD RACECuronian lagoon” on Baltic coast where due to rather mild climate most of late autumn migrants still could be recorded late October.

The rally is an international, open, non-professional competition with a goal to record as many bird species as possible within the time and area indicated. Purpose of the rally is also to make Lithuanian bird watching sites better known in the neighbouring countries, increase interest to bird watching as hobby by showing of an international public passion and interest for it. Public awareness of nature conservation, bird and nature tourism and events of this type is also a goal of the rally.

Ventės Ragas Peninsula of the Curonian Lagoon as well as Curonian Spit are sites where due to specific land contours are key or bottle-neck areas of well known White-Baltic seas flyway. According to many foreign bird-watchers autumn bird migration on Lithuanian Baltic coast is among the most intensive in Europe.

Ventės Ragas is an ideal geographical location to catch and ring birds. One of the biggest migration routes “Via Baltica” goes by the Eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. More than 3 million birds flying along the coast of Lithuania is a frequent sight in the period of September - October. Having reached the end of the Cape and being aware of the wide waters of the Sea birds come back - and this is the best time to watch them.
