“Alaušo Slėnis” is a Recreation Centre situated on the picturesque western coast of Alaušas Lake (~ 110 km from Vilnius, ~135 km from Kaunas).

  

The centre is absolutely new and covers the territory of more than 4 ha; the maximum number of guests is 68.

“Alaušo Slėnis” provides 4-star services of housing and entertainment. Our guests live in new rest houses with verandas looking at the lake, sitting-rooms, bed-rooms with modern furniture, mini kitchens and modern bathrooms.

Conferences and seminars are organized in a spacious hall looking at the lake (hall construction is of tinted glass). Original interior solutions, calm sounds of the lake and nature colours will leave the image of harmony and perfection in the memories of participants.

Central hall is divided in two parts:

• hall for 40 people
• rest zone for coffee-breaks

In “Alaušo Slėnis” you will find all necessary equipment computer, projector, fixed screen, video camera, sound facilities and wireless microphone, internet, writing desk and etc.

During the coffee-breaks the participants could walk along calm Alaušas coast, breath smells of Aukštaitija fields (north-eastern and eastern part of Lithuania) and listen to the symphony of nature.

Improve yourself in harmony with nature.
In case of longer occasions guests can stay in the rest houses and use all Centre equipment for various events (rest, business and personal events etc.)

In Lithuania, remembrance of the dead took place during all annual feast days. Come autumn, when all work was done, Lithuanians carried out special rituals honoring the souls of their dead ancestors.

The ritual traditions of the dead were directly related to peoples’ belief that on that day the souls of the dead return to earth, to their homes. Therefore the souls of the dead were graciously received and treated according to rituals of the ancestors.

August 21 was presented unique Lithuania trademark to promote the name of the world to disseminate information about the country.
“Lithuanian Tourism Development Agency, together with a partner ” Lithuanian Development Agency, has implemented the EU’s support financed project “Lithuanian tourism and business brand building” which aims - to improve Lithuania as a tourist and business-friendly image of the country, creating Lithuania Tourism and business brand, and its use of the study.
Implementation of the project, coordinated by the Office of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.
At the beginning - 2008  January, the End - 2008  September.
Lithuania completed a tourism and business in the country’s image and opportunities to improve the identification of target markets.
Lithuania and the targeted foreign markets, public opinion and market research company TNS Gallup with the help of the world recognized methodology for the TRI * M, carried out detailed studies and the reputation of Lithuania in their analysis of the results.
The findings of these studies were presented to the media and interested groups: the public authorities, municipalities, business associates, tourism organizations and creative agencies.
This year the month of June was elected as the winner of the “Smart Solutions”, presentation of the brand “Lithuania. Sense of Change”.  And September will mark a style book.
This project will help create a sign to reveal the distinctiveness, to increase its recognizable worldwide, will help to reveal the distinctiveness, it is easier to attract investors, strategic partners and media attention.

Foreign currencies can be easily exchanged in the banks and exchange offices as well as at the hotels without any commissions charged. Most Vilnius banks are open Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday, Saturday- 08:00-15:00.
