Irish airline Aer Lingus has included Vilnius into its development plan for flights from London.
The company has already launched online sales of tickets for flights as of 25 October. During the winter season, which starts in the end of October, Aer Lingus plans to offer six new destinations from London Gatwick Airport.
Another air carrier, Star1 Airlines, will launch flights between the capitals of Great Britain and Lithuania sooner than the Irish airline. Star1 Airlines will compete with Aer Lingus for flights not only to London, but also to Dublin. The newcomer is to launch ticket sales this week.
