Plenty of unseen food and drink, jesters and fakirs show their tricks, the tournaments of knights, medieval musicians and dancers. The Trakai island castle becomes a center of medieval crafts.
On August 15th and 16th visitors to the Trakai Island Castle will be amazed by an unusual view. The castle’s courtyard will take them to medieval times: there will be craftsmen working in their little shops located alongside the masonry walls, and the old pub will welcome visitors wanting to taste dishes of culinary heritage. Children will be able to take part in drawing and pottery competitions.
The castle will echo with medieval music and dance as well as the clang of swords and armour of fighting knights, striving for the attention of their dames. A tireless joker will amuse you throughout the day and fakirs will give magical fire show as soon as twilight comes.
