New cinema in Vilnius Oldtown - “Pasaka”

It was known that it will be a fairy-tail but now it comes true - a new cinema named “Pasaka” (Eng. Fairy-tail) in the old town of Vilnius, Sv. Ignoto g. 4/3, just above the restaurant “La Boheme”. The cinema will have 3 halls placing 270 cinema lovers.
The new cinema theater will put most of its attention to the European Cinema, it will welcome Kaunas Cinema Festival as well as “Scanorama”.
According to the “head” of the cinema “Pasaka” Ms. Greta Akcijonaitė - “Better cinema is better programme”.
it is already known what will be the “openers ” of this season - a comedy by Woody Allen “Whatever Works“) as well as Italian life situation comedy „Pranzo di Ferragosto“.
The doors of “Pasaka” are opened up from the 19th September.

Cinema Pasaka now uses very eco-friendly human power for their movies. Eight bicycles are hooked up in tandem to generating equipment so that their riders can watch the movies as their pedalling powers the theater projector. And for the record, it should be “fairy tale” not “fairy-tail”. A “tail” is an appendage found on many animals like dogs or monkeys or lizards or, well, you know.
