The Tolerance Center of the Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum presents famous Polish graphic artist‘s first prize winner‘s in the Poster Biennale in Finland, bronze medal winner‘s in the International Poster Triennale in Japan and the gold medal winner‘s in the International Art Directors Club Exhibition in New York, USA, Wieslaw Rosocha (born in 1945), exhibition “Silent Cinema” (”The Painted Bird”).
The core of this exhibition are the works of W.Rosocha, inspired by the ambiguous Jerzi Kosinsky‘s (1933 – 1991) book “The Painted Bird”.
This book approaches the Holocaust issues in Poland. Dr. proffessor Andrzej Zieniewicz from Warsaw‘s University will be participating in the openinig of the exhibition and will discuss J.Kosinsky‘s authobiographical book “The Painted Bird”.
