The 18th most important and biggest international trade fair in the Baltic Region for agriculture, food and packaging industries “AgroBalt 2010″ is coming back to its old venue - Lithuanian Exhibition Centre LITEXPO in Vilnius. “AgroBalt 2010″, while keeping its best traditions, supplemented its contents with urgent issues dictated by the market and will welcome its participants and visitors with a slogan Directly from a Farm.

popular theatre and cinema actor was born in 1964 in Kaunas. He started to speak at two, and singing at twenty. All that time grew up and learned in Vilnius, A. Vienuolis secondary school. Afterwards he continued his studies at conservatoire as an actor. His first songs appeared when he was an actor in Marijampolė Drama Theatre. Even though A. Kaniava is now works for Keistuolių Theatre, he is a frequent participant in concerts of singing poetry in Vilnius Teachers’ House. He is one of the most favorite performers for audience and differs from other performers for untraditional accomplishment, which is full of motion and expression. A. Kaniava on the stage looks like a furious boy. Maybe this is why especially a lot of young people are listening for him happily.

International dance day is celebrated since year 1982 – name us dance events that you have recently been to. Can think of any? Don’t worry! On the 29th of April Vilnius Teachers’ House and VGTU Lithuanian folk dance group “Vingis” for the second time are organizing International dance day celebration! During this celebration, you will be able to see sometimes wantonly forgotten traditional Lithuanian dances (sometimes referred as folk dances). On the stage will perform dancers from ensembles “Vingis”, “Sietuva”, “Viltukas”, “Vilniaus Pynimelis”, “Neris”, “Jievaras”, “Šviesa” and Vilnius university song and dance ensemble.
The walking will start at 17:00 from Vilnius Cathedral square and will march through Pilies and Vokiečių streets and will end in the Vilnius Teachers House yard.
This year don’t miss the 29th of April!

The Toasters, are “Ska Pioneers” (Billboard magazine) and boldly go where no ska band has gone before. The Toasters have been around since 1981 and will undertake their 27th YEAR ANNIVERSARY TOUR IN 2008. Formed on the Lower East Side of Manhattan they traded punches with the best of them at the legendary CBGB’s Club (RIP) on the Bowery. With early releases produced by the great Joe Jackson they zoomed into prominence as America’s early ska pioneers and have been blazing the way for the rest of them ever since. Alongside bands like Fishbone they helped engineer the American ska craze in the 80’s and 90’s. Since that time they have continued to provide an international benchmark for the genre whilst never losing sight of where they cam from. Band Members: Bucket (guitar, vocals), Andrew Pearson (bass), Jesse Hayes (drums), Scott Russell (drums), Neil Johnson (saxophone), Dave Barry (keys, vocals), Greg Robinson (trombone).
