Cesis is one of the most beautiful towns in
Latvia with ancient history and traditions. There is a unique combination
of gardens and parks, historical buildings, narrow roadways, wooden houses
and lovely squares.
 The
historical scenery of the town adores Castle of the Livonia order (1206),
Cesis new castle and St.Johnes church (1284).
A hotel was built 1938 and its first name was Tervete later on
Hotel Cesis.
In December 2005 a hotel becomes a member of Kolonna Hotels Group.
Kolonna Hotel Cesis offers 40 rooms of different categories – singles,
twins/doubles, studios, a number of rooms for seminars and conferences
with max capacity up to 60 pax, Café Popular, banquet facilities, private
sauna.
Rooms are comfortable and tasty furnished, and there is place for
approximately 75 guests.
All rooms have private facilities with WC and bath/shower, direct phone
with local and international access, satellite TV, wireless internet.
Breakfast Buffet is served in Café Popular from 7:00 to 10:00
and is included in the room price as well as VAT.
Children under 7 have free accommodation when sharing the same room with
their parents (no extra bed).
Kolonna Hotel Cesis has one of the best catering services in Vidzeme.
The restaurant is an excellent place for private lunch, dinner, banquet or
wedding celebration.
